You will be able to climb aboard a real steam engine, wander through a red caboose, and see the hobos living in the ACL boxcar!

Our 100-year-old steam engine lets you imagine the life of engineers and firemen.  Ring the bell to let people know you're coming!

Put into service in 1910, relaible #250 often pulled trains to an from Fayetteveille, about 75 miles away.

Listen to the click of the track as the miles go by

Be sure to get up close so you can appreciate the size and complexity of this trusty "road machine."

Stop in the boxcar to say "hi" to the hobos!  Find out the meanings of the messages they leave around the Museum.

Our red caboose is a great place to find out about what the crews did at the end of the train.  Find out who was "the boss" and how he and his crew kept the train safe and on schedule.

The caboose is also a great place for a special birthday party event.  Check out the information about birthdays elsewhere on this website.
